Announcing the New college.georgetown.edu

January 16, 2008

Jane McAuliffe, Dean of Georgetown College, announced the launch of the College's redesigned website, http://college.georgetown.edu, on January 16, 2008.

"The unveiling of our redesigned site is an important step forward for College," said Dean McAuliffe.  "I encourage all students, faculty, alumni, and parents to visit the site and experience its many new features. I hope that all users will find it a dynamic, attractive, and easy-to-navigate virtual window into the world of Georgetown College."

The College website was designed by Virilion (formerly Mindshare Interactive Campaigns), a full-service interactive agency that has, for more than ten years, helped major organizations and institutions transform ideas and issues into results through digital media. Virilion boasts offices around the country and has produced award-winning work for clients such as Anheuser Busch, Business Software Alliance, and UNICEF.

Virilion's design was constructed and implemented by Keybridge, a unit of University Information Services (UIS) at Georgetown. KeyBridge designs and develops web sites for Georgetown clients on a contract basis. Their specialities include web project management, web application development, web graphic design and multimedia development, system implementation, and system integration.
