New Issue of Research News Released

Dean Jane McAuliffe announced today that a new issue of Georgetown College Research News has just been released. The Research News site can be viewed at:

This eighth issue offers in-depth features on the exciting work of College science faculty and their undergraduate researchers, including:

  • Dr. Bahram Moasser's work on catalysis and MRI contrast agents

  • Dr. Joe Neale's involvement in the Georgetown-Hughes Undergraduate Research Scholars program and pioneering studies of a brain peptide

  • Dr. Anne Rosenwald's research on cell membrane traffic

  • Dr. Jim Sandefur's investigations into mathematics education

  • Dr. Jennifer Woolard's examination of youth experiences in the school and juvenile justice systems

Additionally, a feature article demonstrates the importance of scholarly teaching at Georgetown College and offers examples of how many College science faculty are making the classroom their lab as well.
