Holy Father Evokes Mass Appeal From Students

Daniel Godlewski (F'08) woke up at 3:35 a.m. to trek to Healy Gates. Though the Georgetown senior didn’t have a seat for the historic stadium Mass being conducted by Pope Benedict XVI, Godlewski showed up to see if he could nab one of the most sought-after tickets in town.
His leap of faith paid off -- along with 200 other Georgetown students, Godlewski joined 46,000 other pilgrims in Benedict’s first public Mass in the United States.
