Alumna Selected as Jack Kent Cooke Scholar

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation selected Georgetown alumna Shilpa Reddy (C ’04) of Birmingham, Ala., as a 2008 scholarship recipient for her exceptional promise in the medical field.
Reddy, who will attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham's School of Medicine, is one of 62 recipients of this year’s scholarship out of an applicant pool that drew more than 1,000 nominees. The scholarship covers tuition, room, board, fees and books – up to $50,000 annually – for up to six years of graduate education.
