Search Committee Formed to Find New College Dean

A search committee charged with finding a new dean for Georgetown College is now in place, Provost James O’Donnell announced.

John McNeill, university professor in the history department, will lead the committee of 12 faculty members, two administrators and two students.

A cross-section of the university and College is represented on the committee with members coming from the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs; the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship; the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences; the School of Continuing Studies; and the English, music, biology, Spanish and Portuguese, philosophy, theology and government departments.
