Faith Video Series Launched on Washington Post Site
June 26, 2009
Georgetown University’s Program for Jewish Civilization and Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs recently launched Faith Complex, a new online video series featuring interviews with experts in religion, culture and politics.
Associate professor Jacques Berlinerblau, director of the university’s Program for Jewish Civilization, serves as host of the new series broadcast on the washingtonpost.com, which also publishes the Georgetown/On Faith page that regularly features contributions by Georgetown scholars and students as part of online multidenominational conversations about faith.
“Faith Complex is a new video series about the collision of religion, politics and art,” says Berlinerblau, who also regularly contributes to the Georgetown/On Faith blog. “It is our hope that this new, interactive forum will bring together leaders, scholars, politicians, religious leaders, artists, writers, theologians, heretics and GU faculty to discuss and debate important issues of the day.”
