Rain Site Arrangements

In case of inclement weather...

In the event of rain, the College will hold Commencement in two ceremonies to allow for the maximum amount of seating for the graduates' families and guests. A ticket for the appropriate ceremony is needed to attend the ceremony. Student will receive seven (7) rain tickets, which they will pick up in White-Gravenor 108 in early May. The Dean's Office will notify students by email when the tickets are available.

Commencement Ceremony One

Student Last Names A through K
12:00 p.m.
McDonough Arena

Families and guests must present rain tickets for Ceremony One to be admitted.

Commencement Ceremony Two

Student Last Names L through Z
2:30 p.m.
McDonough Arena

Families and guests must present rain tickets for Ceremony Two to be admitted.

In the event of rain, traffic attendants will closely monitor the interior roads and car traffic may be held up to allow for pedestrian traffic approaching McDonough Arena. Campus security guards will direct pedestrian traffic. Arriving graduates, families, and guests may proceed directly to McDonough Arena.
