Studying abroad

Q: Where do I find information about studying abroad? And when should I start thinking about that?

A: Good question! Review the College's general information about studying abroad, and visit the Office of Global Education (OGE) website. It’s never too early to attend an open house or information session, but the majority of students study abroad during junior year and plan for and apply to programs during sophomore year (there are exceptions: some students study abroad in sophomore spring, others in senior fall). We recommend that you discuss your interest in (or questions about) study abroad with your academic advisor during your Academic Road Map (ARM) meeting this fall. You don’t necessarily need to start planning for study abroad this early, but you should be thinking about it in the context of your overall academic program.
