Watch: My Home on the Hilltop

May 19, 2015—On May 16, more than 850 students graduated from Georgetown College—including Heather Artinian (C’15), a government major and justice and peace studies minor whose time at Georgetown has been filled with a wide array of experiences. In the last four years, Artinian co-founded Girls For Change (a professional development program for high school girls), became a Baker scholar, delivered a talk at TEDxGeorgetown 2013, and worked with the Georgetown Scholarship Program, among other activities. She also found a group of friends that she now calls her “family.” Artinian will soon be heading north to attend Harvard Law School, and we sat down with her just before Commencement 2015 to hear firsthand what being a hoya has meant to her—and how it will help her in the future.
