Community Scholars

January 6, 2014—The community scholars are a racially and socioeconomically diverse group of students, many of whom are the first in their family to go to college. The summer before their first year, the students spend five weeks on campus in classes and workshops. The Community Scholars Program helps the students in their transition to higher education and continues to support them throughout their years at Georgetown.
