The Moment: Rangila 2014
January 21, 2014—In November, Kevin Tian, a business school student who is pursuing a certificate from Georgetown’s Department of Computer Science, joined over 500 students to perform in Rangila 2014. For the last 20 years, Georgetown’s South Asian Society has produced the popular show to raise money for the Pritam Spiritual Foundation (PSF) in India. Based in Kashmir, PSF helps civilians injured by the ongoing India–Pakistan conflict receive necessary health care and prosthetics.
Rangila 2014 was performed in the Opera House of the Kennedy Center. Watch Tian as he navigates rehearsals for Rangila and takes the stage at the Kennedy Center.
