- The New Student Guide will be online shortly. This is your resource for information about academic registration, housing, Pre-Orientation Programs, finances, campus resources, and more.
- The 2012 Guide to Preregistration will be available at the end of June. This guide leads first-year and transfer students through the steps needed to successfully register for fall 2012 courses.

General Education Courses
- The general education requirements are ordinarily fulfilled in the student’s first and second years.
- Out of the normal course load of ten courses in the first year, the student may choose no more than two courses in any one discipline; this regulation holds for sophomore year as well. In addition, the student may not take two courses in the same discipline in the same semester during the first two years.
