Apply: Scholarships for Summer Program in Italy

March 16, 2016—Georgetown’s Italian Research Institute, in collaboration with the Italia Innovation Program, invites Georgetown College students to apply for two full scholarships for third annual Italia Innovation Summer Program in Italy (June-July 2016).

The month-long program offers a full immersion learning experience in Italy that focuses on the entrepreneurial experience. A selection of iconic Italian brands will challenge international students—from universities around the world—to lead the innovation of their business and productive models. Partner companies represent the fashion, arts, design, food and wine, and high-end manufacturing sectors.

Throughout the program, students will attend company visits and hands-on lectures to learn about industry insights.
Students will be mentored by a team of business leaders and professors, such as Bill Burnett (Stanford), Robert Jackson (Columbia Law School), Liat Aaronson (IDC Herzliya and Marker LLC), David Schonthal (Kellogg School of Management and IDEO), as well as business journalists like Alexandra Fattal (The Economist) and Annalisa Merelli (Quartz).

Program dates
Start: Monday, June 13, 2016
End: Monday, July 11, 2016

Application deadline
Friday, April 1 2016
