Sample Course Schedules
Below are sample schedules the College Dean’s Office has created for incoming students to help them create their fall schedules. These sample schedules are a starting point, not a finished product.
Undeclared students in particular are encouraged to explore the different curricular offerings that interest them. Declared students are also encouraged to explore, but they should make sure to request the appropriate coursework for the first semester in their programs. All students should avoid courses for which they expect to get advanced credit (e.g., AP or IB); you can find a quick-reference chart for advanced credit in the Guide to Registration and a more detailed explanation on AP/IB policies on this website. In the Guide to Registration, you can also find general guidelines and considerations for building your schedule.
